Contract Packing Services

2016 – Another successful year for Pickit and Packit. December saw the completion of 1.25 million gifts for one of our blue chip customers. Using our well established QC techniques meant the complete absence of rejects, much to our clients’ satisfaction.

The seasonal drop in business hasn’t happened this year, because more local clients are using our facilities. We continue to produce bespoke packs of beers and ciders for major retailers using our case wrapping facilities to good effect. Clients from the DIY industry, the Craft industry and Household Products suppliers are booming and are calling on us to help them fulfil  their customers’ varying demands.

Fulfilment Services

A significant number of new clients have joined us during the last few months. Companies supplying  Pet Accessories , Nail Care products, Animal Feeds, Electronics and Horticultural Supplies have recently joined our client portfolio. Our advanced IT offering with hand held picking selection give complete order fulfilment reliability – much appreciated by our clients.

Overall we go into 2017 confidently predicting steady growth. There are many years of experience within our management team who are all committed to complete client satisfaction.

Contract Packing and E-commerce Fulfilment

We have had a fantastic month for contract packing and e-commerce fulfilment with numerous new customers coming on board.

We start next week shrink wrapping 100,000 cards into packs of 5, making up picnic hampers with healthy snacks and collating point of sale material to be distributed to a well known bakery chain. This will keep contract packing busy and we are not too far away from our large cosmetic customer delivering the first stock for the Christmas period.

We have a busy time setting up new on-line retailers for our ecommerce fulfilment from top label designer clothes to Lighting specialist and internet/aerial supplier who sell all over the world to caravan and boat owners.

It takes time to make sure customers are settled in properly, we give full training on our Linnworks order management system, we have then to get familiar with each customers products and setting up an ideal location within the warehouse. The customers are then free to concentrate on the selling aspect while we are on hand for all of the operational side.

All of our new customers have been at the stage where they have outgrown their garage operation and were at the stage where they needed extra help, but instead of the extra costs of getting larger premises and staff issues they made the right decision to out-source to Pickit and Packit.
